Sane Studios was formed for one simple reason: we want to make RPG gamers happy. We want to produce games that are interesting, different and fun to play. But above all, we want to insert a little more variety and innovation into the hobby. How many times have you opened up a role-playing book and thought “Oh no, not elves, dwarves and orcs again”? There are a lot of arguments for using creatures based on existing myth and literature repeatedly, the most common being “gamers can relate to them.” It seems that a great many RPG creators are wary of straying too far from tried-and-tested formulae, and often with sound financial reasons. But what about the people who want to try something different? That’s where we come in.

Sane Studios are here to have fun, and hopefully to help other people have fun too, not to make huge amounts of money. We are also committed to producing quality products that look good and play well. Because we are unbound by the need to make cash, we can really let rip with the creativity too. That’s why we are striving to bring you the best in Role Playing from the far side of the imagination. Some will probably call us mad. But we’re Sane. It says so right there at the top of the page.
